Snowshoes padel are fragile. Of course, there are no strings, but instead of changing strings, it is often the pala that we will buy back. There are many reasons. We will try to list them for you and give you some advice to preserve your racket.

Snowshoes padel wear out faster than a tennis racket. There are many reasons for this:

Normal wear and tear on terrain and play

First, you play on a small field where you “grate” your racquet with the field carpet, the glass, the wire mesh, or even your partner's racquet. Sometimes, moreover, these are brutal shocks. And that's part of the life of the padel. You should therefore expect to wear out your racquet padel much faster than any other racquet sport.

Some players have more or less sporting games and this can also affect the longevity of your racket.

it sounds stupid, but obviously the more you play, the more your racket takes shots. In a few weeks, your pala may not look like much if you play very regularly.

The quality of the pala

All rackets from padel are fragile. And with all those carbon racquets, that might not help too much. Fiberglass is generally stronger, but it is a less noble material and appreciated by players. Even though ... In recent years, brands have invested in developing more durable rackets with these famous 6K, 8K, or even 12K carbon rackets. The higher it is, the stronger the racket is supposed to be. But the price is high too.

But here too, if we give you some generalities, we will find snowshoes that are at 12K and are fragile.

Because a racket of padel, it's not just that. It is also a gum or hard foam used by brands and which are inside the frame (racket head). This gum can soften or on the contrary harden over time and depending on its use and time.

A racket that you are going to leave for example in the trunk of your car when it is 30 degrees during the day… Or even when it is 5 degrees…. This has a direct consequence on the quality of the pala. The feelings will be different in general and you realize that sometimes. How did you manage to feel everything the day before when today you no longer feel anything? Do not look too far ... Sometimes it is indeed your pala which is not really the same. (But sometimes YOU are the problem too 🙂

An expensive racket lasts longer?

And paradoxically, not all the time. The rackets first prizes are often resistant to clumsiness of the players. They are mostly made of fiberglass, less sensitive to all the elements seen below. So yes the quality of the racket can be less appreciated by the players.

But here too, brands are trying different ways to extend the life of these high-end rackets.

First, there are these protections that can be added to the racket slices. These protections are made of plastics most often. The stronger and thicker it will be for your racket. Nevertheless, doing this will weigh a few grams on your racket. Admittedly, it's nothing, but these few extra grams at the head of racket will make you think about the choice of this option.

Brands include protection related to snowshoes. But once used, we can not replace them anymore ... And the protections are not always complete.

Other brands like BULLPADEL have found a trick by offering protections integrated into the pala and interchangeable according to the weight and the obsolescence. But one can meet the problems seen concerning these protections of the edges of rackets.

The best advice ultimately would be to take extreme care of your racket because the slightest blow can be fatal.
