The French Tennis Federation launches the 1st edition of the French Championships Padel Youth. This new team event will take place on September 14 and 15 in Toulouse Padel Club (Occitanie league).

This competition, consisting of two events (boys and girls), will bring together the best players of Padel from France, from categories U14, U16 and U18.

At the end of the interlude played 29 and 30 last August, three women's teams (leagues Ile-de-France, Hauts-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur) and four men's teams (leagues Pays de la Loire, Hauts-de-France, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur and Occitanie) won their ticket for the final phase of the French Championships.

This competition will be played in the form of a pool. Each team will consist of six players, with one U14 pair, one U16 pair and one U18 pair. During each match, the three matches will be scheduled in the following order: U14, U16 and U18. The team, which will finish in first place in the pool, will then be crowned champion of France.

This weekend of Padel will also be an opportunity for the selectors of the France Jeunes teams to finalize the proposal that will be made to the National Technical Director in order to establish the final list of players to represent France at the 12e World Championships Padel Youth. For the first time, France will participate in this competition organized by the International Federation of Padel, in Castellon (Valencia, Spain) from October 14 to 20.

Discipline in full swing, the Padel every year attracts more and more practitioners (currently around 70 in France), who take advantage of the multiplication of land (000 in France) to indulge their new passion in the clubs of the FFT.
