When we talk about showman of the world of padel, Paquito Navarro's name is one of those that comes out first.

Indeed, the Sevillian is well known for putting on a show both on and off the 20x10 screen. In recent years, the Andalusian has won the hearts of Italian fans, including the rapper Junior Cally and Sky Sport commentator Gianluigi Bagnulo who decided to compose a song in tribute to their favorite player. "We called it the Isla song Padel because this sport is like an island where happiness reigns. It's like Ibiza, many say they will never go but in the end when they go there they enjoy it and have a lot of fun. This is what we observe today with the padel. It may be difficult at first when you try it for the first time, but everyone who continues never stops enjoying it.” commented Gianluigi Bagnulo.

He continues by explaining the reasons why it was Paquito Navarro who had the right to appear in the chorus: “All the big names are mentioned but the chorus had to be representative, with only one player. […] Navarro is the player who best combines the padel and the music. I would say that Paquito is the most musical, the most spectacular but also the most popular player. It's an icon!"
