There were no surprises in the first semi-final of the Premier Padel Riyadh P1. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia proved that they were already sharp and did not let Salva Oria and Ignacio Sager repeat the exploits of the previous rounds.

Obviously a little timid by the pressure of playing a semi-final of a tournament of this level, the outsiders were not really able to put their game in place this Friday. The majority of the blame, of course, lies with Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia who were able to take advantage of the fast conditions to impose their pace.

To make matters worse for the “little thumbs”, Salva Oria, obviously tired by the sequence of matches, ended up having to withdraw due to a thigh injury while the scoreboard showed 6/3 3/2 in favor of Coello and Tapia.

The Riyadh P1 therefore ends for Oria and Sager, who can congratulate themselves on having defied all the predictions in Saudi Arabia. Hopefully both men will be 100% in two days in Doha for their first round.

For their part, Gustavo Pratto's men qualify for the final, and await the name of their opponents for what will be a real shock in the final, whatever happens. Indeed, they are the winners of the match Lebron / Galan vs Di Nenno / Stupa who will face the Spanish-Argentinian pair!
