First day of competition in Marbella for this new WPT and despite a difficult start for the French, there is one who has managed to get out of the game.

 

It is none other than Johan Bergeron. Indeed, the Lyonnais and his partner Simon vasquez managed to qualify for the third round of the preprevias that are being played this morning.

 

At noon Johan the competition started against Sergio Borrero (238st) and Hugo Garcia (180th). They manage to win easily 6-3 / 6-4, advancing to the second round, which started at 19:00 p.m.

This time the Franco - Swedish pair was faced with Raul medina (196st) and daniel moon (167th). Once again without much danger, the pair played on their opponents and qualified for the third round with a 6-3 / 6-2 victory.

Well launched in the competition they will have to overcome Pedro Vera Castillo (106st) and Aitor Garcia Bassas (112th) if they want to win their entrance ticket for the previas which will start at the end of the afternoon. A very tough pair, which had left no chance for Blanqué / Leygue in Santander.

More Johan Bergeron et Simon vasquez are in good shape, they have proven it in the last tournaments. They will do anything for enter for the second consecutive time in previas. For this, they can count on their experience but also on a relative physical and mental freshness compared to their opponents.

Indeed, the Frenchman and his partner won their two matches in 2 rather dry sets unlike their opponents who for their first match first had to fight 3 sets, before winning with a score of 7-5. / 7-6 (3). Can this have an influence? Start of response to 10h !
