Ramiro Moyano, is currently the 19th player in the world. This top player, much appreciated by the world of padel, looks back on his change of equipment, partner and the evolution of padel in Spain and internationally.

Padel Magazine - A 2018 year with a lot of changes. Let's start with this pala ...

Ramiro Moyano: I play with the Dunlop Galaxy. This is a racket that will obviously appeal to attackers because its head weight and capacity make it one of the most interesting on the market. The other interesting point is the development of the Dunlop brand, which continues to invest in innovation at Palas. Moreover, this year is a bit special for Dunlop, since it clearly offers its best rackets of padel.

Your favorite shot?

My favorite shot is the reverse volley, I recommend doing it always moving forward, and pushing a lot towards the legs so that the ball has power and weight.

How do you see the development of World Padel Tour ?

Le World Padel Tour lives there also good years. The players are happy with the circuit. Television has clearly brought World Padel Tour. We've been looking for this for a long time. The numbers were also very positive. Suddenly everything is green.

With your partner, what are your ambitions?

With Luciano Capra (editor's note, Capra is left-handed and former partner of GODO), my partner, we had an interesting start to the season. Things have to fall into place. We are very happy together and the next tournaments will be important for us to see if we can do good things ... The competition is very tough and there are no easy turns. The current pairs are very complete and have a lot of ambition too. Suddenly, not easy ... But we have to count on us!

Internationally, how do you see it padel to develop?

Clearly, these are the best hours of padel. THE padel is growing in all regions of the world. Of course, in Spain the padel is already very developed, but with television and its record numbers, this has a very positive consequence on the padel European and international.

Tracks are being set up all over Europe. In Italy, Portugal, France, Mexico, Uruguay, the padel has particularly developed there recently. The level of play is also growing and we see more and more non-Spanish speakers participating in stages of the World Padel Tour.

This competition is obviously very beneficial for our sport and that's good!

Do you watch it padel French particularly?

For several years, we have seen the padel develop in France. And besides, you have a few players trying their luck on the professional circuit. I also remember hearing about Bela, surprised by an exhibition padel in Agde some time ago (note. It was certainly the National Padel Cup at the Cap d'Agde International Tennis Center in 2014 where Salazar (n ° 1 ladies), Belasteguin n ° 1 men), Rubio, Sanyo (n ° 3 men), Berdasco had been present). Fernando Belasteguin was astonished at the emulation of padel that there could be. Bringing in professional players is obviously very good for France.
