The International Federation of padel regulated the choice of side and service.

The choice of the court side, the first server and the first receiver must be determined following a stack or face.

The winning team can choose between:

a) Serve or return first. In this case, the opposing team will have the choice of the side.

b) The side of the court to start the match. In this case, the opposing team may decide to serve or receive.

c) Leave the choice to the opposing team. Once the service order and sides have been decided, both teams tell the referee which team will start serving and receiving.

Case # 1: Do players have the right to change their decision if the game is interrupted during warm-up and players leave the court?

Decision: Yes. The result of the initial stack or face is maintained but both players can change their decision.
