  • On the first day, matches won count for 1 point.
  • The second day: 2 points.
  • last day: 3 points per game (Today at 23 p.m.)

Team selection mode

The two captains Juan Martin Diaz and Wayne Boich selected their players according to the usual draft system in US sports.

To sum up, it is similar to each in turn choosing a player from the group of 12 players present.

The matches are played in three sets with a super tie-break in 10 points in the 3rd.

The particularity: replacing a player during a match

A small peculiarity, the captains have the right to replace a player in the middle of a match if necessary.

And it works since on the first day, Juan Martin Diaz and Coki Nieto were trailing 6/4-2/1 break against Lucho Capra and Javier Garrido when JMD replaced himself with Javier Rico before he turned the tide. Rico and Nieto won the second set 6/4 and the super tie-break 10/8.
