The Marbella tournament finished, we can take stock of this first week WPT. In the end, they are 56 female pairs and 100 male pairs, two places of matches of which one room of more than 3000 people of capacity. From Friday, 8 permanent cameras, two fixed commentators for a maximum of show.

Let's go back briefly to this week padel champagne offered to us by the Cerveza Victoria Marbella Master 2019.

The French are starting with beautiful things seen on the grounds that lead us to think that the next tournament we will see more of our representatives in the second round.

The new pairs that have formed tell us a good show for the tournaments to come. Both for men and women, we had some nice surprises like the Silingo / Allemandi pair who released Stupa and Diaz before making 3 sets against Maxi and Sanyo. Among the girls, watch out for Noguiera / Martin who surprise the number 1 Triay / Sanz, put 2 sets to Tenorio / Gonzalez and make the M & M´s sweat in the first set 7/6 before releasing and losing 6/2.

From the show: The padel feminine hardened. We see very big defenses with players able to hold very long points. In future tournaments, will we see a little more power? The men when they offered us the show we expected. Great strikes, extraordinary defenses, endless exits. Note the new strategy of Paquito and Juan Lebron.
