Bullpadel is a 100% brand padel, and a leader in its field for several reasons. First, it offers a wide range of products including rackets, apparel, shoes, balls and accessories to meet the needs of all players.

Then in terms of sales volume, the Spanish company takes the lead year after year.
All this thanks to 360° mastered marketing, targeted advertising, a large and loyal panel of professional players, products at the cutting edge of innovation and a multitude of references that make Bullpadel the undisputed number 1.

Today, let's dwell on two of the most popular models at Bullpadel : the mythical 03 Hack by Paquito Navarro and the Vertex 03, which you will see once again in the hands of Juan Tello and Fede Chingotto.

Two jewels of the Pro Line

Both models are part of the series pro-line and are the best-selling of the brand.
If we look at their technologies, we see that they have almost everything in common, with a few exceptions, but once on the track they react differently due to their stiffness, balance and construction.

At first glance, we see that Paquito's racquet, the Hack 03 2023, has a 3-prong core designed to perfectly redistribute weight and make it more manageable. It has a black and silver aesthetic of the most beautiful effect.

On the other hand, the Vertex 03 2023 retains the appreciated features of the 2022 model, with a specific core reducing torsion and increasing rigidity, and a finish that allows you to appreciate the checkered carbon with an orange logo in addition to other contrasting details such as khaki.

Bullpadel Vertex 03

For starters, both racquets have the technology Custom Weight which allows to modify the balance of the racquet by adjusting weights on the frame, as well as inside the handle cap according to the needs of each player. This allows players to customize the balance of the racquet to their needs.

As for the core, both racquets use a foam Multi Eva, a rubber whose outer layers are stiff while the inner layer is a little softer to better adapt to slow balls, ensuring a good balance between power, control and comfort.

Two palas that look alike but different

Paquito Navarro's racket features a heart design adaptia which improves its maneuverability, stability and responsiveness when hitting. It is also equipped with theAir React Channel, borrowed from the Vertex 03.

This technology consists of small openings at the height of the heart to improve aerodynamics and stability, thus slightly widening the sweet-spot (or centering zone) of the racquet as well as the speed of the swing.

As for the faces, the Hack 03 retains its smooth finish, while the Vertex is still true to the finish TopSpin rough, similar to a sanded effect, which allows better contact with the ball and a noticeable improvement in spin. Note, however, that this type of finish can wear off with time and use.

Regarding the frame of the racket, Bullpadel uses CarbonTube technology, which consists of a 100% bidirectional interwoven carbon frame construction. This process guarantees an optimal mechanical response, great solidity and a perfect balance between power and control.

Two jewels of technology

On the faces, the Vertex 03 uses Xtend Carbon 12K, biaxially interwoven fibers for greater rigidity and a lighter weight of 25% compared to a “classic” carbon fiber. On the Hack 03, it's technology Tricarbon which was preferred.

This process involves the assembly of thinner and lighter carbon fibers in a three-dimensional way to multiply the responsiveness of the racquet during strikes and improve its performance on the court. In addition, it increases the resistance of the racquet while providing control and maximum power during final smashes.

However, one should not just focus on the carbon on the surface, as there are other factors to consider, such as the mold and rubber used. When it comes to mold and balance, both racquets are extremely powerful. They have a diamond shape, in order to maintain a high balance for more convincing smashes.

The Hack and Vertex ranges of Bullpadel also incorporate the Metalshield frame protector, an innovation of the brand in flexible and lightweight aluminum alloy anchored to the frame with 3M adhesive, avoiding drilling holes in the latter in order to avoid micro-cracks in the factory.

Regarding the structure of the two models, the system Nerve is always present. This consists of reinforcements integrated into the perimeter of the frame that give these palas greater rigidity to withstand shocks or accidental blows, as well as avoid twisting when hitting.

To conclude, they are equipped with the grip Hesacore, which thanks to its hexagonal design, improves grip and reduces the effort required to hold the racket, thus providing a more natural grip. Adding this to technology Vibradrive , you get a smooth, vibration-free keystroke for hours of discomfort-free gaming. Finally, the racquets also have a premium strap with a sliding bracelet for optimal comfort on the wrist.

Conclusion

In summary, comparing two of the best racquets in padel available on the market, my role, today, is not to tell you which one is the most powerful (because it is very little to play for), but to warn you that you will need a sturdy arm whatever happens and an authentic technical background in order to tame these references which, when in the right hands, prove to be devastating.

The Hack is slightly stiffer than the Vertex, and I found the latter much more maneuverable.
Overall, these two racquets are suitable for offensive players, especially those who play on the left and have an aggressive game.

Both models are effective at sending lightning while also offering excellent control.
Whether you are Team Paquito or Team Tello, there is no doubt that you will make the right choice if you are looking for one of the two most powerful models offered by Bullpadel.
