The France team conducts its first interview as the 3rd nation in the world, just after their victory against Portugal in Dubai.
The members of the France team respond to us after their incredible performance. Strong and moving words.
“Our final was to finish 3rd”
Our final is to finish 3rd in the world championships. We can't be at the level of Spain and Argentina today. We have 6 or 7 years of padel when they have 40 behind them.
This is proof that we are an exceptional group. What we've done is incredible. It must be said.
We fought like dogs at eight. Everyone played. And Pablo (the coach) and Vivien (the physiotherapist) have greatly contributed to these results.
With the girls, we are a big group. And few countries can say the same.
Benjamin Tison

“We like decisive matches”
Adrien and Ben had a great match against the Portuguese in 1. We owe them a lot. Scat and Jo had a great match too.
Decisive matches, we love them. We are at 3 out of 3 this week. We played our match, we put the intensity. We had a player on the left a little weaker than Miguel Oliveira and we therefore played on him.
In my diagonal, I think I had a very good game. Thomas was very solid.
Bastien Blanqué
“I didn't think we could get bronze”
I didn't think we were going to be able to get this medal. I'm super happy. Normally, Spain, Argentina and Brazil monopolize the first three places. When we saw that Portugal had taken out Brazil, we said to ourselves that there was something to do.
When we entered the field, we were in warrior mode. We were there to win. I'm so happy for the whole team.
Thomas Leygue

“We deserve this medal”
We must thank those who supported us, behind their screens and those who made the trip. I think we deserve this bronze medal. We went looking for her.
Adrien Maigret
“Dreaming and confirming”
I want to dream. I hope that we can confirm for the next Worlds and even hope to do better. But we will take it step by step. We'll see how things evolve.
Max Moreau

“We removed the little tensions between us”
We created a group in 2018. This is the third time all together. In padel, we are the third nation in the world, but I think that in terms of a team, we are the world champions. We know how to tell each other things.
We removed the little tensions between us to go as far as possible. I'm proud of the team. Good job guys.
Jérémy Scatena
“The France team internship helped create the group”
I think that the training course of the France team made it possible to create the group. And Pablo has a lot to do with it.
We see it in this competition. All the players were amazing. Even those who haven't played. Max didn't play, but he was behind us. I am very happy to be part of this team.
Jerome Inzerillo
“When Brazil lost, a 2nd championship opened”
We were aiming for 4th place. This is always the objective of the France team. Brazil loses to open another door for us. A 2nd championship has opened up for us.
