As we told you recently, the World Seniors +, also called World Veteran, will take place in La Nucia (Alicante), from April 15 to 20. The change is that instead of having 16 teams per category (men's and women's), the final phase will have 24 for men, and 22 for women!

A decision that the FIP describes as “revolutionary and historic”, and which responds to the fact that 30 countries for men and 22 for women have requested to register.

In a letter sent to the federations, Luigi Carraro, the President of the FIP, explains opening “the doors to more nations to participate in this unique event, celebrating the 'diversity' of padel world: more matches, more competition, more emotion and more fun. This edition will be the largest in history, setting new standards in terms of organization”. The Italian also stressed that this is “the result of the tireless work of our affiliated federations, which have stimulated the development of padel and made this unprecedented growth possible.”

Carraro, addressing the national federations, concluded with praise and a wish: “We are firmly convinced that together we will write another important chapter in the history of our sport, producing the most successful edition of all times and providing our players and fans with an unforgettable experience.”
