Many players ask us to participate in training courses, but then they tell us that they come alone. And that is not possible, padel is above all a team sport!

In the Sports To B courses, we cover all facets of the game: technique, tactics, psychology, coached matches, reading the game of your opponents... We explain it all to you!

Of course, the basis is the technique!

Serve, forehand, backhand, volley, lob, smash, bandeja, vibora… As in all sports, it is extremely important to master all the shots you will use during a match. In addition, many players come from another racket sport, such as tennis or squash, and tend to adopt bad gestures. For example, the topspin forehand is almost never used. Generally, during the first hour of each day, your coach will teach you how to master the techniques correctly! First control… then power!

But where the camp gets really interesting is when you get into all the tactics and matches. Have you ever been overwhelmed and felt stuck when the going gets tough? It's probably because you haven't taken a few moments to think about tactics. What are your strong points ? Do you prefer to play on the forehand or backhand side? Have you taken the time to analyze your opponents' play? Should we speed up the game or slow it down?

As mentioned above, padel is first and foremost a team sport, unlike most other racket sports. Therefore, it is essential to get to know your partner, find synergies and develop automatisms to win matches. Knowing how to play as a team is not just about being technically competent… It is also about encouraging your partner in difficult moments, carefully reading your opponents' game and developing a strategy to destabilize them, adopting body language that shows that you will never give up, knowing how to manage time and take advantage of breaks, etc.

Often taken by the intensity and stakes of the match, we forget to use our head and act mainly by instinct and feeling...

And that's what our coaches will work with you on, showing you classic game sequences, when to go on the attack or stay defensive, when to change sides and vary the game, or when one must consistently target a specific opponent, letting the other cool off, and so on. As in all sports, tactics and strategy play a fundamental role, which is why it is essential to take part in the course with several people… Because if you come alone, you will only be working on technique. It would be a bit like following a football course alone, without teammates… It would make no sense!

Finally, let's not forget why we love this sport so much: its social aspect! Isn't it nice to play with friends or family? Finish a match or training session and then go have a drink or eat something together? That's also what padel is, and that's what gives it all its charm!
