The International Federation of Padel (FIP) showed renewed appreciation for the World Padel Tour by sending a press release.

This is more significant than it seems, because beyond the announcement of the return of the duo Lebron / Galan, it is the very fact that the FIP mentions the stages of the World Padel Tour which may seem surprising.

This announcement comes at the time of the first European Games of padel. Coincidence or not, we remember that the FIP had more than demonstrated on the practices of the World Padel Tour before the International Olympic Committee.

It should be remembered to what extent the President of the FIP took a stand, even personally, against the World Padel Tour. Therefore, this recent “indirect” recognition marks a significant turning point in the relationship between these two entities.

This coincides with the similarity observed between Premier Padel and World Padel Tour. However, this event happened without any intermediate explanation or official announcement, which makes the situation even more intriguing. Now, the FIP mentions the stages of the World Padel Tour as if the previous tensions had disappeared.

It remains to be seen what the implications of this development will be for the future of the padel at an international level. For now, fans of the sport can look forward to the seemingly ongoing reconciliation and look forward to the spectacle promised by the return of the Lebron/Galan pair.
