If you want to improve at padel, you have to play, take lessons, and add different ways of looking at things to your game. We offer you several tips that will allow you to realize your room for improvement. Take it little by little, make them part of your life padel without rushing and you will progress.

  • In competition, before starting to warm up, take a look at the field. It only takes a few seconds to familiarize yourself with the grills and their color, the windows, if they are cold or damp, the carpet, whether it has a lot of sand or not, if it is well distributed or if you can make castles in the corners , lighting, if it is different from the usual one. In short, take your bearings.
  • Take at least 5 minutes of warming. Even more important in winter, a bad start is a whole game.
  • During your training, don't hesitate to spend time on your “bad” side. This will allow you to better understand the role of your partner and especially to adapt your strokes or even learn new ones.
  • The lob. Use it as a strike, when you are in an “easy” position which will allow you to catch the net afterwards. A chain of bad defense lobs and morale takes a hit.
  • Practice 200%. Bringing one's body into the red zone makes the mind work to resist difficulties.
  • "The clothes do not make the man". You know that expression. Do not be fooled by appearances. A super equipped or super muscular player is not necessarily a good padel. Judge it on the pitch and not before.
  • Dare to play tournaments, they will make you progress. Generally playing on a short period of a weekend, you can, even if you lose, play 2 at 3 matches. The atmosphere and stress of the tournaments is different to those of friendly matches. Go ahead, you will meet new gaming partners.
