We've known it for a while, Lucas Pouille is a padel lover. So much so that the tennis player will play his first P1000 this weekend. It will be at 4Padel of Orleans, with Thomas Mitjana.

Looking for a teammate for the tournament, Thomas Mitjana found a renowned partner in Lucas Pouille. The two men, who have known each other from tennis for many years, have participated in several training games together at Racing in recent weeks. Enough to make them want to register together for a big French padel tournament: the P1000 in Orléans.

Ranked number 150 in padel, the former 10th world player is not lacking in talent, as the player who will share the court with him this weekend explains: “He plays really well. He has participated in very few tournaments but has already won a P500. This will be a first for him in P1000”.

And the one who has already won 4 P1000 would like to add one to his list: “We will give everything, tear ourselves away, and try to win all the matches.” It's not going to be easy because there will be several very solid pairs, like Authier/Vincent, but Thomas promises to “cover his tracks” and ensures that he is moving to “try to win the competition”.

The competition is warned!
