Big success for the first edition of the inter-company trophy organized by Work and Padel, in partnership with Club Med and Hopps Group.

The 2 competitions (a Mixed tournament and a Men's tournament) put 4 employees (Hopps Group, CEPAC, TechnicAtome and Citroen La Pioline) in competition over a period of three weeks with some fifty extremely motivated teams.

 The prize for the winners is a weekend in the Club Med of their choice!

The level of play was very interesting, including two semi-finals men of beauty.

On the mixed side, we attended a marathon final: almost two hours of play for a match won in two sets !!!

Men: FINALISTS: Gilles / Christophe (CEPAC)

                      WINNERS: Thierry / Fabien (HOPPS GROUP)

Mixed: FINALISTS: Sandra / Jérôme (HOPPS GROUP)

                   WINNERS: Elsa / Fabrice (HOPPS GROUP)

In addition, the finals were followed by a superb closing night. More than 200 people could enjoy a moment of conviviality around a few drinks and an atmosphere assured by the presence of THE BOJANGLES group.

Robin RACASSA, Marketing Manager of Work &Padel, seemed very satisfied with this first edition:

We managed to bring together around XNUMX players of all skill levels, which is way above what we expected. We even had to refuse teams! The tournament took place in a good-natured atmosphere, even if the motivation was great with the prizes involved! We are really happy because we could still see how the padel is gaining momentum in France and gradually establishing itself as THE sport of the turn of the century.

And Dorian BARGIGLI, Founder of the company, hastened to continue:

The success of this event as well as the success of our first club at Hopps Group confirms my idea that the Padel is a perfect sport to practice within the company. Its playful side as well as its accessibility immediately hooked the employees, who for the most part became `` drug addicts '' of Padel !

Immediate consequence: Work & Padel officially opens its 2rd  and 3rd clubs at Château de la Pioline in Aix-en-Provence (opening early September) and Brousse Vergez in Marseille (October). We will come back to this in more detail in a future article.

The company is also expanding at the human level, welcoming a new Director of Sport Development, Olivier Martinez (99rd Français Padel).
