Valentino “Tino” Libaak (17 years old), double world champion in the youth category, with his partner Leandro Ausgburger (18 years old), made history in world padel in Argentina.

The Argentinian pair managed to beat:

  • Juan Martín Díaz and Agustín Silingo in 16th
  • Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello in 8th
  • Maxi Sánchez and Lucas Campagnolo in 1/4
  • Miguel Lamperti and Juan Cruz Belluati in 1/2

The final, on the other hand, was very special with a new record: a final of only 42 minutes.

That's how long it took Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia to win this final.

A final of all records. But we will obviously remember the feat of Libaak who, from the height of his 17 years, reaches with Leo Ausgburger a final of the World Padel Tour, even though they had obtained a Wild Card to enter directly into the main draw.

“Tino” Libaak thus became the youngest player to play in a final of the World Padel Tour at 17 years, 7 months and 2 days.

Undoubtedly, this first open was that of all records, with record attendance as well.

Surprisingly, we will not find Libaak in Chile, even if we secretly hoped to see him play with Sanyo after the withdrawal from Belasteguin. On the other hand, his partner Leo Ausgburger will play with Mike Yanguas.
