A few months ago we realized a zoom on the injuries which most bother practitioners of padel. For many of you, tendinitis, sprains or even the ball impacting games are the ones that come back the most.

Today we are going to show you a new example of a boo-boo that can arise when you try to outsmart your opponent. Let's go back to this Saturday, October 07, during the semi-final of the FIP Platinium in Sardinia between Maxi Sanchez / Lucho Capra and Federico Chingotto / Miguel Yanguas. After missing his smash, the Andalusian tried to counter Capra's recovery. For this, he used his usual technique, which we could call the “Yangüinha” and which consists of crouching behind the net while stretching your pala forward, in the hope of touching the ball.

Unfortunately for him, the trick did not work this time because the Argentinian, not having seen him at the start of his action, sent the ball straight into his face.

More fear than harm for the Andalusian who quickly got back on his feet and returned to the fight, ultimately winning in two sets for the 1st seed (6/4 – 6/4).
