We know the love story between Cyril Hanouna and the padel. And we also know the passion of the host of TPMP for hoaxes. Cyril was able to show it during a tournament of padel where he trapped two players who had tried to cheat in an official event.

Live on the C8 channel, he shares this story.

In a tournament of padel with six hens, the first of each hen continue the adventure in the main draw, but also the best 2nd pair according to the number of matches, sets and games won.

And in an attempt to qualify for the rest of the tournament, two players who had just lost lied about the score of the match: they said they had won more games than they had.

The umpire then realizes that the two teammates, who had obviously not consulted enough before, give two different scores.

“The umpire says there is a problem”.

Result : “imbroglio not possible”

"And that's where I come in."

“I call these two players a little later and pass myself off as the president of the Federation of Padel"(Editor's note. implying the French Tennis Federation, which manages the padel in France and whose president is Gilles Moretton)

“And I tell them: what you did is punishable by a fine of €15.000 and a two-year ban on touching any racket”

“The guys are in total stress”

“I didn't tell them it was a trap, so Romain and Nicolas, this story is false”.

For the record, these players, caught red-handed, had confessed to cheating.

Morality:

  1. Do not cheat
  2. Be careful, Cyril Hanouna may trap you one day!
