The abdominals or “abs” are the muscles located in the stomach, acting like a belt, in some people slightly hidden by a protective layer. These muscles, if they are well maintained and muscular, will allow you to increase your performance padel. What are they for ?

The abdominals, in everyday life, serve to protect the internal organs of the belly area, maintain the body straight by the belt-like action, and especially to transmit movements between the upper and lower parts of the body.

We can clear 2 types of abdominals; the outer abdominals, and the deep abdominals.

The externals are easily worked by exercises that everyone knows, but apart from being aesthetic (tablets) do not help us more than that in the practice of our sport and especially the maintenance of our trunk.

Deep abs are the most interesting for us. What are the movements padel where we use our abs? All. You hit a forehand, a backhand, you rotate the body. You do a smash, you stretch your body upwards and then bend it in acceleration. During volleys, you contract your abs to control the ball. Finally, let's not talk about both lateral and front-to-back movements, or even jumps, acceleration and braking that require sheathing.

These abdominals are easy to work at home, but require a minimum of knowledge so that they are done correctly. Do not worry, here are some videos that will help you find your way and improve your performance.
