For their first tournament together Thomas Leygue and Jose Pedro Montalbán will have spent a round before losing in the Netherlands.

Opposed in the first round of the pre-previas to the Germans Lingen and Jülich, the Frenchman and his partner caught up with a complicated start to the match to offer themselves a victory in two sets: 7/5 6/0.

The second round was more hung against the Argentinian Ramiro Pereyra (161) and the Norwegian Fredrik Ask (212). Unfortunately for the Franco-Spanish pair, they lost in three sets: 6/3 3/6 2/6.

We will now have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to see another Frenchman competing in this Amsterdam Open. Indeed, Benjamin Tison and Martín S. Piñeiro will be opposed to Jaime Muñoz (58) and Ignacio Vilariño (66) in the first round of previas.
