This will certainly be weird to many of you: Juan Lebron and Galan, who started the season as number 1 on the World Padel Tour, now form pair 3.

There are several reasons for this descent in the ranking of Mariano Amat's players. First a start to the season weighed down by injuries, with Juan Lebron who has only participated in five WPT tournaments this year, when Di Nenno and Stupaczuk have already played 13!

Then there is obviously the incredible level of play displayed by the two pairs formed at the start of the season: Coello/Tapia and therefore the Superpibes, who continue to gain strength as evidenced by their three consecutive titles.

Lebron and Galan, who dominated the padel world in 2020, 2021 and 2022, are therefore lagging behind. Will the 2021 World Champions be able to set the record straight this week in Italy during the second tournament of the season stamped Premier Padel ? Mariano Amat's men already know that to win the title, they will only need to beat at best only one of the two pairs that precede them in the WPT rankings… Enough to give them a little more confidence!
