This Saturday afternoon the semi-finals of the World Padel Tour Marbella Master, and in the first match, we wondered if Chingotto and Navarro would be able to end the invincibility of Coello and Tapia.

"Playing with intentions so as not to regret anything": these are the words of Gaby Reca during the pre-match. And with a Paquito still able to set fire in front of the Andalusian public, we thought that anything was possible!

Opposite the Coello / Tapia duo arrived with incredible confidence and once again seemed ready to fight. If Tapia was still bandaged at the elbow, we still felt the Argentinian in full possession of his means.

Intentions… and a punishment!

This semi-final starts with a bang.

Ready to fight, Paquito launches hostilities on the first point of the match. Coello responds immediately with a club blow that marks the spirits. The numbers 1 remain dominant on their service game despite the good intentions of Chingotto / Navarro.

The Coello/Tapia duo raced in the lead and it was a sumptuous point from Coello which countered a smash from Paquito with a crazy trigger that launched the machine. Tapia continues with a point of which only he has the secret: a superb flick of the wrist to beat the ball into the net of his opponents and the favorites already win the first set of an authoritarian 6/2.

Navarro and Chingotto appeared to worry the tournament favorites in the opening minutes of the game but were quickly punished.

At the start of the second set, failing to be at the level he wants on the pitch, Navarro will seek the public to find inspiration, additional strength, but it is always the favorites who are in the lead.

It is finally a break on "punto de oro" which allows Gustavo Pratto's men to finish the job.

But where will they stop?

Coello and Tapia are a real two-headed monster. When one seems inside, the other takes over. Still undefeated on the WPT, they logically go to the final after 1h09 of play, enough to be fresh for the new final that awaits them.

Facing them, it is either Stupaczuk and Di Nenno, or Gutiérrez and Gonzalez who will present themselves. Answer right now !
