We saw it with our recent survey on the “ideal club” : some players dream of a club 100% padel while others like the idea of cohabitation with tennis, or even with other sports. It's a bit like in life: there are those who prefer to live alone or in a small circle and those who like shared accommodation and community living spaces.

The Belgian case: open warfare

Divergent choices found in the organization of the federations that manage the padel. On the one hand, there are those, as in France, Italy or Great Britain, where the padel is integrated into an older tennis federation; and on the other, countries like Spain, Portugal, Sweden or Switzerland, where the federation of padel is independent and proud of it.

And then there is the particular case of French-speaking Belgium, where the leaders of tennis and some of those of padel are in open war. The former have obtained government recognition, but the latter manage their clubs and organize practice and competitions with a claimed success.

Add to this the international level, where the International Federation of padel (FIP) is independent and intends to remain so, despite a recent takeover attempt by International Tennis Federation (ITF)

It's your turn to speak

As usual now, today we give you the floor through a survey in which you can answer several questions. the padel is it, in your eyes, soluble in tennis – and vice versa? Is the intervention of a rich and organized federation, like that of tennis, beneficial or harmful? The cohabitation, in multi-sport halls, between football, fitness, squash, badminton and padel is it problematic for you?

To give your opinion, That happens here

Do not hesitate to justify your answers.
