How many of us are complain, dispute, complain, get angry, resent their partner on a track of padel ? And if you were to pass on the side of the Positive thought ?

When we listen to the comments of top players after a loss, it's always more or less the same speech: “They played well, I have to keep working, we managed to do some great things…” You will seldom hear players say that their partner was really bad, that it was not a good day, or that the playing conditions were more favorable to the opponents.

Reacting with positivity always brings improvement in our life and in the case of padel, in our game. And you will see that it goes through several stages.

The front padel

We rarely go to play padel right after we got up from our bed. The days are long and full of constraints. Work, children, relationships with the people around us mean that your access to the track will be affected. So first of all, ask yourself why you are going to play padel ? If it is to have a good time, to empty yourself mentally and to exert yourself physically, you can stay, if not, leave room for someone else who will certainly have more fun. The padel is a game, not a chore!

Trainings

You are on the track for a training session. You are made to work on your physique and strokes that you are not used to doing or that deserve to be improved. Even the greatest players pass and repeat these shots to make them more effective. Take the time, enjoy each impact with the ball, enjoy testing new things, workouts are made for that. See the positive side of everything you are doing, it can only bring more to your game.

Respect for opponents

When you enter the arena, you only want one thing to win the game. But be fair play by respecting your opponents. Seeking verbal confrontation will only get you into trouble and loss of focus. Some people are nicer than others, you have to deal with it. Respect, leave room for doubt, and above all, congratulate if the point is well done. Such an attitude is appreciated on the track. If you want to be contacted by other players to participate in other games, be positive in your gestures and actions towards your opponents, you will come out of it enhanced.

The relationship with your partner

Difficult communication, lack of understanding, contagious frustration are so many elements that will disturb your team. Know that there are two of you and that the slightest grain of sand will stop your machine for the benefit of your opponents. Always motivate your partner, encourage him, praise him, launch him to attack the net or the winning point, try to set up playing tactics together, because you can have great ideas or a great sense of observation, but your partner may come up with a better solution that you hadn't thought of. We need to feel important to each other and need to be loved. It doesn't cost much but gives amazing results.

The return to normal life

Once the game or training is over, quickly return to normal life by memorizing all the good points of your session. During the post-match, it's time to relax and not to headaches. The match is played on the track, and once it's over, let's not forget that this game acts as a social network on a human scale. It's a bit like a good rugby match where after 80 minutes of battle, sweat and sometimes blood, the artists clap each other's hands and gather around a table.

Le padel is a sport which allows us to escape, makes us release the pressure. Having positive thoughts and words allows YOU and those around you to enjoy a supportive atmosphere that makes those who share it better.
