Barely a little over a year ago, Tino Libaak (18 years old) and Leo Augsburger (19 years old), already well known in Argentina, made themselves known to the world padel in full. Defying all predictions, the two young prodigies managed to eliminate Pablo Lijo and Javi Ruiz in the first round of the Buenos Aires Master 2022. Behind, they delivered an honorable performance against Lebron and Galan and gave a glimpse of very good things.

It was a few months later and again in Argentina, during the La Rioja Open, that the two friends clearly showed the full extent of their potential. Deprived of the title by Coello / Tapia, the Argentines could still congratulate themselves on having been the first pair to benefit from a wild-card to have reached the final of a major tournament, in addition to having brought down several big names in the padel World.

But behind them, they made the surprising decision to separate, and it wasn't really conclusive. With ever-higher expectations placed on them, the two young people struggled to shine apart from each other and ultimately made the decision to get back together. After experiencing great difficulties, they were finally able to get the machine back on track and finally meet the expectations of the public by reaching a new final: that of the Mexico Open. Beaten once again by Coello and Tapia, who lifted their 11th trophy of the season in front of the Mexican public, Tino and Leo finished the season very well on the WPT, with a little hint of regret for Leo…

Ending the season in 17th and 25th place respectively in the standings, Augsburger and Libaak confirm all the hopes placed in them for several years. Now in the Top 25 of the WPT, the two young prodigies will be expected around the corner.

And this will start from Premier Padel P1 of Milan, where they would be well inspired to achieve a result, they who are only 164th and 172nd in the FIP ranking…
