"Everything changed. All sports have changed. But I think the speed of play and the terrain are the things that have evolved the most.

Even though we travel a lot, I don't have a mental trainer. I had one at the time, because I needed it. But for a long time, I no longer have anyone. The most difficult thing is being away from my family, what matters most to me is having their support. If my wife and children support me, I end up adapting to whatever comes my way."

“I believe that all the partners I have had by my side have been partners who have brought me a lot on the pitch, each in their time and each with their own condition. I tried to adapt my game to get the best out of my teammate.

“I think we've been very clear with each other (with Sanyo). We're a very strong pair and I feel that's what's been different since the first time. We know what we can and cannot do. We also changed a lot of things.

Le padel changes from year to year, Sanyo finished second and I finished third last year. If we don't adapt to the changes in the sport, it eliminates us very quickly. This year, it's the same thing, we have to adapt to the new pairs.

Our main objective is to be able to participate in all tournaments. We have 44 and 39 years, we know that if we do all the stages of the circuits, we will be a very difficult pair to beat.”
