As he prepared to play the exhibition match alongside Cyril Hanouna against Sylvain Wiltord and Arnaud Clément last Sunday before the grand final of the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major, Benjamin Tison talked about his experience at Roland-Garros.

At the microphone Padel Magazine, he confided in his next goals and in a key point of his personality.

“Goals 1/8th final next year”

“Yes for sure next year the goal for Premier Padel would be to make 1/8th final and why not a 1/4 at least once. We will see that next year or even this year in Mexico because there will also be a Major. Of course my dream is to be here at Roland-Garros for as long as possible on center court. This year we are not having a bad tournament but we come across a difficult pair, that's how it is.

We lose 6/3 – 7/6 it's a shame but it's the experience that comes in.”

“Growing Popularity”

"Since World Padel Tour of Toulouse and now this tournament at Roland-Garros on padel becomes more and more known so the best players of which I am a part are often more recognized and in demand. In addition, with a host like Cyril Hanouna or other stars like Zinédine Zidane, it gives more visibility. the padel is exploding and I see some negative comments on Facebook articles so it's a good sign, the jealous people are starting to get involved (laughs). This makes me happy because it means that the padel is growing in popularity."

“I am a sincere person”

“I am a very frank and very sincere person, sometimes it can play tricks on me and I know that I have to make an effort in the way I speak with certain people but when I say something it is that I think so. I like to debate too. When there are great things I say it like today at Roland-Garros and when there are less good things you also have to say it because otherwise I find it unfair.
