A few days ago we had the chance to interview with Pablo “Pali” Rovaletti, ex-professional player and current product manager at Bullpadel. After looking back on his career, he explained to us his role within the Spanish brand and revealed to us the new products that will be released at the end of the year.

Vertex 4: Curvactiv, one of the most important improvements

“The palas that we find for sale are equipped of the same technologies as the players' rackets. The only difference that could be noted is a personalization detail like an addition of weight.

10 years ago we released the weight system which allowed us to customize each pala in terms of weight for each player. We therefore tried to transpose this specificity from the professional to the amateur. Thus, recreational players were also able to personalize their racket because it is above all this type of player that we want to see improve. Today, we continue to maintain the good quality of our technologies launched a few years ago. I can take the example of one of them that we do not see with the naked eye, it is the resin that we use to make our products. The EVA foam, we have improved it a lot.”

Then, there are the improvements visible directly on the product, as for example, if we take this pala, the Vertex 4 (see 10.10 of the video).

Here is the latest new feature that we have deployed: the CURVACTIV. This new frame allows the balls to respond better with each shot. The energy that comes out is tenfold compared to other rackets. With less force, the ball exit nevertheless remains faster. This novelty is the result of two years of work. […] This is one of the most important improvements we have made to this model. We thought it was impossible for us to make any changes to the VERTEX 3 but after several studies, we found that we could make some changes. The CURVACTIV changes everything on this pala. "

“There is a real change between the Vertex 3 and the Vertex 4, especially regarding the ball exit. The third version was a precursor in this area but this year, the Vertex 4 confirms this change with a 50% additional power. There, we are entering a new era.”

Neuron: Chingotto adopted it very quickly

“There we have the Master Final model and then we have the Neuron called classic. For this pala, we were looking for a player with completely different characteristics. And it is true that Fede Chingotto is a player really different from the others because when you see him play, he doesn't jump like all those big guys who hit hard and make the ball go all over the place. What we wanted above all was for this pala to be easy to use for each practitioner. It has a large surface area and 3K carbon.”

“We also launched the Wave System, which is a system of 'waves' on the frame which allows the player to obtain a good ball release and easier handling, to say the least. It is the ideal pala for amateurs who need a little more control. That’s why we asked Federico Chingotto and we saw, he adapted to her straight away.”

“This is the first time we have seen these technologies on palas. We really want to help all practitioners develop their full potential.”

We have launched a unique collection of six WPT palas

“We started working with the World Padel Tour. We were also the first brand to begin the Carbon 1K adventure. We were brave to go into this. It was a success. The following year, the circuit wanted to continue working with us. We have changed the purchasing experience thanks to unboxings. It’s a tribute to all the work done in recent years. Seeing that we have 10 players competing in the Master Final is a real source of pride. This is why we decided to launch a special collection with the six palas from the pro range with a common color. On one side, they all have the tournament logo. These six unique models are a tribute to all our work over the years but also to our players and the circuit which helped us a lot.”
