Home Padel won the interclubs of Île-de-France in Regional 1 and aims to become champion of France by 2024.

The Sporting Director of Casa Padel and Captain of team 1, Jonathan Legall, looks back on the actions taken by the club and explains the strong choices that have been made.

"Home Padel : a project that makes sense”

“The adventure begins in the best possible way for the team at Casa Padel. We beat Lagardère in the quarter-finals, Padel Horizon 3 in the semi-finals and the Tennis Club de Paris in the final. Our project is clear: to become the champion club of France in 2024 with a team that makes sense.

I wanted to reinforce this Spanish connotation at the club and obviously in these interclubs. This is part of the logic for Casa Padel, it's in his DNA. The team perfectly embodies the club's desire to link France to Spain, with strong and less strong players.

We don't know what tomorrow has in store for us, but the club's objective is to have a project for each player, whether it's a human, professional or financial project, and that the players have a common objective. : become champions of France with Casa Padel.

Our goal is of course to keep players, but things are changing rapidly in the world of padel one way or the other. Now, we are lucky to have a very committed President. Jose Manuel Escoín trusts me and carries all the actions of the club.

“The desire to have players that I have trained”

“I am delighted to see that in this team there are players that I have trained, such as Léo Silvera, Bartolome Ayora and Johan Seknadje.

We can also mention Cyril Hanouna, whom I have seen progress within the club for 5 years and who started with me in the first tournaments. And of course, Cyril, who supports this sport andinvests in Casa Padel.

Bartolome graduated with us and progresses day after day, to finally win the decisive point against the Tennis Club of Paris. That's a beautiful story."

“This is not a mercenary team”

“We also have very good international players, and it is a pride to have them among us.

All of these players have either been linked to the club for a long time and/or have a long-term professional project with Casa Padel, be it Miguel Semmler, Mario Huete and especially Javi Clar, our ambassador.

Laurent Montoisy is Belgian and works at the Bela Center, where I send players from Casa Padel, and this is the club down the street from my home in Spain. I want to bring professionalism and make young players want to progress to be part of the adventure.

I am not naive, I am aware of what is being said. But that's wrong, there are no mercenaries, because we have a real project with all the players in the team.

We could have gradually integrated the players as the competition progressed, but I absolutely wanted to present a competitive team so that the team could grow internally.

Actions will be carried out with these players throughout the year with the club. We are not talking about players who come just for 1 or 2 games and then goodbye. “

“Actions in all sectors of the padel"

“In line with our actions in all areas, we are continuing our project to promote the padel, emphasizing the leisure aspect.

We also train competition players, and this team will be the spearhead for offering p500, p1000, even p2000 level tournaments in the future, while ensuring that we act in a coherent and structured way, in parallel with the development of the centers home Padel in all of France.

Home Padel aims to be present in all the strong areas where we are already active, such as:

  • Leisure, with an increase in level p25 tournaments.
  • Regional p100 and p250 level competitions.
  • Disabled competitionspadel, with a competition of padel in a wheelchair scheduled for the end of August.
  • Le padel charity, with investments in various foundations fighting against cancer.

It would make no sense to have a team committed to the French championship without having a global project behind it. We are therefore actively working to develop initiatives in these different areas.”
