A little over three months ago, we told you about this new club which opened its doors near Castres: the Cedars Côté Club. Since padel is in full swing within the new complex, as are the other sports present alongside it: badminton, squash, etc.

Charles Catalo, the manager of Cèdres Côté Club, looked back on the beginnings of his club.

The beginnings of the club

The development of the sports complex has exceeded our expectations. We have known regular and sustained attendance from the first weeks with an increasing number of members and visitors.

Le padel was a real favorite for our members. The tracks are constantly busy, whether for friendly matches or organized tournaments. Badminton and squash have also attracted their share of fans, offering a variety of options for all skill levels.

Tournaments

The tournaments were a key element of our success. We regularly organize competitions padel, for the moment mainly on weekends, and attract participants from all backgrounds.

This created a competitive and dynamic atmosphere which motivated our members to become more involved in this sport.

The new challenges?

No project is without challenges. We had to adapt quickly to the growing demand, particularly for runway time slots. padel. We are currently working on the expansion of our outdoor facilities to meet this strong demand.

In addition, we are considering adding other sporting activities to our offer, such as pickball, and perhaps Beach tennis in the weeks or even months to come. This will be based on feedback from our members. We also seek to develop partnerships with local businesses to offer special events and programs.

En conclusion

I would say that our complex offers much more than just a place to practice sports. It is a dynamic community where racquet sports enthusiasts can come together, challenge each other and flourish around their passions. Very often, they even end up together over a drink at the end of their game.

In a few words: join us for an unparalleled sporting experience!

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
