Yesterday, Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto played their last match together, in the semi-finals of the World Padel Tour Buenos Aires Master.

Defeated by Lebron and Galan on the score of 7/5 7/6, the Argentinians will not have succeeded in finishing with a title, as Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno had done.

We will all the same remember that “Super Raton” and “El Gato” will have given everything for their last tournament together, reaching the last four of this Master, and offering a good resistance to the world numbers 1, who moreover gave them a nice tribute in interview.

It is therefore on this defeat that ends a stage that will have lasted seven years and more than 300 matches between these two players that we thought would be associated for life. But the pressure of results in professional padel will have gotten the better of the oldest pair on the circuit.

If Chingotto recently started a new stage with Javi Garrido, and Tello did the same with Paquito Navarro, some fans would like them to reform this already legendary pair one day. Fernando Belasteguin himself wrote yesterday on Instagram: "Let's hope this is just a goodbye and they get back together soon."

Time will tell us…
