After 2 days of competition, the south-east of France hosted tennis and padel part of the world top concluded by the PRO-AM Summer Trophy final organized by Tennis Padel Sun.

Di Nenno-Damar: Champion!

The first semi-final was won by the pair made up of Frank Damar, player of the Monegasque selection and Martin Di Nenno, Argentine player ranked 26rd at the WPT, against the Tello-Ferragut pair.

In the other semi-final, the Ferrer-Restivo pair had won with difficulty in the super tie-break against the Chingotto-Pastor pair, following a completely crazy match. Unfortunately, David Ferrer was not available this Friday to fight to postpone the title.

So the pair Di Nenno-Damar is crowned champion of this Summer Trophy 2020.

A final / exhibition composed of 3 stars from padel

The organizers, however, proposed a somewhat special final, as Juan Tello, the world number 14 and recent finalist at the Madrid Open, found himself playing the final alongside Juan Manuel Restivo.

In the end, the replacement of David Ferrer by a prestigious lucky loser would make the final opposition just as thrilling against Damar / Di Nenno.

On the field, it is an exhibition composed of three players from World Padel Tour that tennis offered us Padel Sun to conclude this event.

From the start of the match, the Tello-Restivo pair showed their superiority against their opponents, postponing the first set 6/3. Tello, exceptionally right-wing player in this match, and his three friends gave us a quality show until the end of the match, in which the pair Di Nenno-Damar finally lost 3 / 6-1 / 6.

Tennis Padel Soleil does not stop hosting great events since it will host the European Champions Trophy from September 17, organized in collaboration with FEPA. During these European Championships, we will undoubtedly witness some very beautiful padel in Beausoleil.
