This weekend, the 5 Raquettes club in Montpellier hosted the NATIONAL stage PADEL CUP. Benoit LECORNEC and Vincent FORTEA manage to win in pain.

A tense final

Stretched by the score. Benoit LECORNEC and Vincent FORTEA faced Maxime SANCHEZ and Anthony DAMON in the final of the 5 Raquettes stage of the National Padel Cup. At stake, a direct qualification for the final stages next November.

Strange match, because the two pairs will have good and less good moments. The pair SANCHEZ: DAMON leaves feet to the floor and quickly wins the first set on the score of 6 / 2. We can see an expeditious finale. It was not counting the come back of the pair LECORNEC / FORTEA. A comeback that will prove even decisive since it won the second set 6 / 2 then the super tie-break 10 / 8.

A super tie-break that could have turned anytime.

The qualifying stage of the NATIONAL PADEL CUP offered a beab show this weekend in Vendargues at the 5R club (five rackets). A great indoor complex with (as its name suggests) several racket sports structures to choose from: Squash, Tennis, Badminton, Ping-Pong and (of course) Padel with 3 lots available.

The local pair LECORNEC / FORTEA goes to the end

In total, 16 pairs came to play to try to win such a precious place for the NPC and it is therefore the local pair Benoit LECORNEC and Vincent FORTEA who won this famous sesame for the final next November.
