Here is a very interesting table on the progression of the number of licensees padel from November 2015 to January 2020. A painting made by our colleague Romain Taupin from Padelonomics.

We can clearly see here that among the men, the progression is very clear with more and more competitors. We realize this during tournaments padel.

In ladies, it's more complicated. The evolution is weak and that is why the FFT has decided to allow the competitors to participate in the men's tournaments.

Remember that to be more precise, it is not a question here of strictly licensed padel. Indeed, the license of the FFT integrates tennis, padel and beach tennis. Consequently, the licensees here correspond to players who have participated in at least one tournament of padel approved over the last 12 months.
