The French U14 and U16 teams will try to win this weekend (from 7 to 9 February), during the qualifications for the Tennis Europe Winter Cups, their place for the final phase of this event. This competition, organized by Tennis Europe, brings together the best young European players in the age categories “under 12”, “under 14” and “under 16”.

 

The French U14 boys team, defending champion, will travel to Belgium at Zetrud-Lumay during this qualifying phase, while the U14 girls will play at “home”, in Poitiers (Nouvelle-Aquitaine league).

For their part, the French U16 girls and boys teams will respectively play their qualification for the final phase, in Lousada in Portugal, and in Cholet (Pays de la Loire league).

Note that last weekend, the U12 tricolor "boys" had already validated their ticket for the final phase, which will take place in Sunderland (Great Britain), from 14 to 16 February.

France to host two U16 finals, to be contested from 21 to 23 February. The "boys" event will take place in Ronchin (Hauts-de-France league), while the girls' event will take place in Brest (Brittany league).
