The FIP Promotion Diputacion de Malaga will take place from Tuesday May 23 to Sunday May 28, 2023 and we will have 4 French pairs at the start: 3 for men and 1 for women.

3 French pairs in the top 10

This FIP Promotion promises to be relatively tough for a simple reason: the event is taking place in Spain and there will therefore obviously be a lot of local players. In this table of 49 pairs, difficult to have an obvious visibility since a majority of the Spanish players have little to see any point FIP.

We will still find well-known players from the FIP Tour, starting with the Hispano-Swedish pair made up of Simon Vasquez and Cayetano Rocafort, ts1 of the tournament, and two “hybrid” duos (a player with points accompanied by a player with few points): the Spaniard Miguel Gonzalez and the Dane Fredrik Ask (445 in the FIP ranking), ts2, and the locals Luis Pozo and Pablo Herrara (795 in the FIP ranking).

We will also have three 100% tricolor pairs. Dylan Guichard / Adrien Maigret will be seeded 4 in the draw. Bastien Blanqué and Julien Seurin, who are continuing the adventure together after a nice week in egypt, will be seeded 6.

We find a “100% Dalton” association: Philémon Raichman and Manuel Vives, pair 9 of the table.

While waiting for the draw, the French obviously hope not to end up in the pair 1 part of the table.

Invernon / Barsotti in Malaga!

On the ladies' side, we will have as often Elodie Invernon and Wendy Barsotti, the only tricolors to make the trip to Spain. The tricolors will be pair 9 and depending on the draw they could have a hand in this Fip Promotion which has a majority of local players.
