The three French people present in the second round of FIP Star Perugia all lost last night. The quarter-finals of the competition will therefore take place without a tricolor this Friday.

Difficult day yesterday in Perugia for the French delegation. After the first round, which saw eleven Frenchies go by the wayside, the second round finished finishing off the last French hopes.

Élodie Invernon and Francesca Ligotti fought hard against the 4th seed Weterings / Koek, but they lost in three sets 6/4 3/6 6/2. Carla Touly and Rosalie Van Der Hoek suffered the law of the 3rd seed Pappacena / Marchetti: 6/4 6/3.

Finally, more worrying, among the boys, Max Moreau and Jacobo Cendon were forced to retire 1/4 against Sager / Del Castillo, the Frenchman having injured his big toe.
