The French Tennis Federation has updated the Competition Guide padel 2018. We will try to put you forward, changes, deletions and additions:

The application for homologation

  • Regarding age categories

For 2018, only the Seniors age category exists. A Club can not therefore organize a specific event for another age category.

In addition, team matches are not approved.

  • Calendar of P 1000 :

The FFT is responsible for harmonizing the P 1000 tournaments calendar throughout the country.

Please note that a Club will only be allowed to organize a maximum of 2 events P 1000 Men and P 1000 Women events during the year 2018 (calendar year).

Therefore, the FFT may refuse the homologation of a tournament P 1000, even if it has been validated by the League, if it considers that the dates coincide with another tournament of the same level, or a close level (harmonization throughout the territory).
