We announced it to you barely a week ago: France has exceeded 2.000 tracks padel on its territory (mainland + overseas). A fulfilled objective which demonstrates the growth of this discipline in Hexagon.

Despite everything, France still seems to have quite a delay behind its southern neighbors. No need to make a comparison with Spain, cradle of padel and its culture, but if we compare with our Transalpine neighbors we have the feeling that France is moving forward like a turtle.

2010 tracks in France, 8954 in Italy

The numbers speak for themselves. Between France and Italy, it is almost 7000 tracks difference ! A staggering figure, propelling our neighbors to the second step of the podium countries with the most courts padel and clubs.

It’s simple, Lazio, the region where the city of Rome is located, has almost so many tracks de padel that the whole of France, with 1914 tracks salary. 2010 in France.

Just like in France, some Italian regions are a little behind their neighbors. In the Molise, we only count 34 tracks of padel and Basilicata, just 25.

Objective 10000 slopes in 2024?

France has a goal for the end of 2024: to achieve the 3000 tracks of padel. Besides that, Italy has a completely different objective: that of counting 10000 courts of padel by the end of the year, i.e. 3 times more just in France.

These different objectives alone demonstrate the difference that exists between these two nations. France is experiencing a convincing development and stable for several years, Italy, for its part, grows at lightning speed.
