A few weeks ago, Decathlon unveiled its padel strategy in Lille. The French brand announced that future padel rackets will no longer be Artengo rackets. They will be Kuikma rackets.

Artengo will be a brand dedicated solely to tennis. This is why from 2019, Decathlon will offer a new padel brand: Kuikma. This brand will only concern padel rackets and all products related to padel.

Kuikma, “team fun” in Aztec, will soon replace the Artengo brand in padel. A very important change of direction for Decathlon, because the Artengo brand is very present in the minds of players in Spain.

Decathlon also explains that it wants to expand its range previously relatively concentrated on beginners or intermediate players.

Kuikma will normally propose in 2019, models for expert players as well.
