France joins the board of the International Federation of Padel. This Thursday, in São Paulo (Brazil), the nations present voted unanimously to elect France to the board of the FIP. It obtains 83 votes out of 83. 100% therefore for Hubert Picquier who will therefore carry the voice of France within the FIP.

Belgium, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Uruguay will also be the 5 other nations present on the board of the FOP.

Luigi Carraro, the president of the FIP, must however note the absence of 2 great nations of the padel worldwide: Spain and Portugal. And a priori, these two countries would not have been represented on the spot.

Ricardo da Silva Oliveira, president of the Portuguese Federation, was expected to become the president of the FIP during the election last November at the Paraguayan World Cup. Is there a link?
