SKEMA Business School is proud to announce the organization of the first French Cup of Padel Business Schools, April 6 and 7, 2024. This initiative, supported by the sports association of SCHEME and Sports Office, is part of a desire to respond to the growing enthusiasm of students for padel, a discipline combining dynamism and team spirit.

Organized for the first time in its history, this competition padel will take place at Sophia Antipolis, in the prestigious setting of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, the training center of excellence, which offers participants first-class facilities with four dedicated tracks.

Seven major schools in the running

Eight major business schools and management will take up the challenge, with the confirmed presence of institutions such as HEC, ESCP, ESSEC, KEDGE, ESC Clermont BS, emLyon and EDHEC. During the two days, the competition will see sixteen teams, including mixed formations, each benefiting from the support of a coach and a substitute. Among the competitors, players ranked at padel (between ranks 1000 and 3500) will be present.

High-level partners

On the sidelines of the main competition, a “Tournament of Legends” will offer an additional show, highlighting the coaches and sports managers of the participating schools, for moments of sharing and conviviality. Among the partners of this event, we include theMouratoglou Academy, of course, but also Philippe Gars, head of the PACA university league; Christian Collange, responsible for the development of Padel in the PACA region; Alix Barbe, SKEMA alumni and CEO of Revers Boisé; Michael Kuzay, CEO of TWENTY BY TEN; And Franck Binisti, founder and editor-in-chief of Padel Magazine.
