Remember that the more defenders will play a strong ball the faster the ball will come back (like a wall), so it will take some time for the defenders to get organized.

As you can see, playing fast does not mean playing well but rather rushing! The goal is to calm down the game by lowering the speed of the ball and make the players play as low as possible to have a ball easy and slow and especially have time to organize!
