Jamie Murray, brother of Andy Murray, responded to CNN on the evolution of the padel. In particular, he returned to the possibility of seeing the padel at the same level as tennis. Here is his response:

“I think on a recreational level it is possible, given the number of people who play padel, from what I have seen in Spain, Italy and France, for example.”

“On a professional level, honestly, I don't know. With tennis, I guess there's so much tradition and history and stuff through so many big events – I think it would probably take a long time to padel to achieve that.”
