In the section “La Picadura de la Vibora"Of Padel Television, we learn the amount of salaries received by the referees of the different circuits of padel. Essential elements of professional events, chair judges are not really treated at their fair value either in terms of recognition, but also in terms of remuneration.

The circuit Premier Padel, which wants to showcase the sport's elite, is not particularly generous with the officials. The latter would receive only 600 euros per week, according to the sources of Padel Television. This represents a dissonance between what the players can earn and what is returned to the referees.

In addition, it would seem that the organization calls on former tennis referees who are not perfectly trained to practice at the level of the padel .

The FIP circuit approaches the uprights Premier Padel also with a remuneration of approximately 600 euros per week.

On the contrary, World Padel Tour provides a much higher income to its referees, namely 1200 euros per week. Chair judges therefore have a better situation on the WPT, but they still sometimes make the transition to Premier Padel for a question of available places.

But after the arbitration scandal in the final of the Chile Open in mid-March, there may be opportunities that will arise!
