The first Luxembourg national padel championship ended this Sunday, September 11, 2022 with the grand finale on the two outdoor courts of the Tennis Club Husen at Parc Hosingen in the north of the Grand Duchy.
The group stages were played from September 1 to 10, 2022 on the 8 indoor courts of the two private padel centers, namely at the CK Sportcenter in Kockelscheuer and at Sport4Lux in Munsbach.
The weather was kind this Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Hosingen for the grand finals of the 1st “ FLT Padel Championship by CUPRA ».
16 teams qualified for the semi-finals of the 4 categories (P500, P400, P300 and P100) at the padel facilities of Tennis Club Husen.

- P500: Enric Batalla Lopez and Javier García Ortega (both members of the Letz Make It club Padel)
- P400: Tom Maquel and Michel Zeniti (also members of Letz Make It Padel)
- P300: Giacomo Anselmi and Olivier Dupuis
- P100: Przemek Jablonowski and Francisco Vicoafter

This first edition of the national padel championship was a real success on which the Commission of Padel of the Luxembourg Tennis Federation (FLT) will be able to build to further develop this great sport in the Grand Duchy.
The objectives of the Commission of Padel have been achieved, namely to promote padel among tennis clubs and their members in Luxembourg, and to offer a quality national championship in an official setting where practitioners of this sport can develop and attract the attention of the general public.

This first national padel championship is just the beginning with the introduction of an indoor edition, which will take place next spring.
Luxembourg is also visible internationally as Céline François (founder and member of the Club de Padel “Letz Make It Padel and bearer of the first FIP license – LU001) who recently played at the FIP Rise in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and who reached the quarters.
