Marina Ponzio is in charge of the development of the club padel in Gemenos. An adventure in the padel who started in 2013 with one of the best French players: Audrey Casanova. And then, Padel Bocage, the club of padel Marseille which opens its doors. Marina, tells us about her journey to Tennis / Padel Gemenos Club.

I had the chance to start the Padel in 2013 thanks to Audrey Casanova at the Aix en Provence set club when we were at CREPS in Aix-en-Provence preparing our respective diplomas.

Audrey and I already knew each other from tennis. In 2013, she had already set course for Padel, so she suggested that I come and try the Padel with her, I immediately hooked but being in the process of preparing my DE tennis, the Padel was not widespread enough to make it my full-time job.

Since 2013, therefore, I played Padel Once or twice a year, until the end of last August when a member of my family opened the Padel Bocage at Plan de Cuques and there Good start!

The friendliness of Padel allowed me to reconnect with lost tennis players, such as Adeline Nadal who was kind enough to take me under her wing, and the game won me over again, so I started tournaments in the fall of 2018, I'm now at 7, and I'm making my little entry into the top 100.

At the same time, I met the team from the Tennis Club de Gémenos who had just set up two Padel. Since January, I have been in charge of development and responsible Padel of the structure, supported by the teaching team.
