The Hauts-de-France league of tennis and padel has a little nugget of padel English: Michèle Skasa Weiss, 84, is the oldest player to have completed an approved tournament of padel.

Originally from the Meru Tennis Club, in the North of France, the current tennis player finds the padel "very addictive".

“We like it very quickly. My first moments of padel were made on a tournament of padel official where I was able to play two games.”

Thanks to these two matches played, Michèle managed to obtain 5 precious points which allowed her to enter among the 3487 competitors of padel referenced in August 2022.

She has every intention of beating this record next year. Indeed, the Meru Tennis Club should have two tennis courts padel in less than a year, which will allow Michèle to play more. A project that is starting to date for the club but this long wait should be rewarded very soon!

We will keep you posted on the rest of the events in this club and its region!
